Feeling Blue

I picked up this vintage flower tee at the Fairfax Flea Market when I went with my best friends a couple weekends ago; the print reminds me of something Murakami would do. I don't normally wear t-shirts so this piece was definitely out of the ordinary, but I figured it'd go perfectly with these cobalt jeans. Sometimes, dressing in one predominant color is a good thing, but it's important to balance it out with other complementary shades on the color wheel. 

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go pack for the beach. I'm taking a little vacation away from interning and spending the weekend with Jonah in Malibu. I love the ocean, I cant wait!

Crystal Castles

A friend of mine starting producing these amazing crystal + bullet shell pendants and I finally picked up a couple for myself. A couple days ago I had this incredible (and violent) dream in which I was being pursued by a bunch of people who didn't speak my same language and I ended up saving the day by whipping out two bullets that were strung around my neck. I thought that by actually having some bullets (albeit in this case, harmless ones) on a chain could remind me stay powerful and in charge in real life? Something like that. The guy has a plethora of different crystals and colors to choose from and you can read all about crystals healing powers here , (I'm a firm believer in them, just search "crystals" in the blog search bar for proof). I was thinking about selling these beauties, but I need feedback from you guys. This adorable baby doll dress is unlike anything else in my closet. I'm not one for such large stripes and blatant colors but there's something about the viscose fabric and the way the material hangs across the body-- it's lovely. Also, these heels? A friend of a friend was emptying her closet and luckily these Dior cut-out oxfords soon became mine for a crazy good discount (along with a couple other pairs you'll definitely see soon). The details on them are incredible. By the way, how pretty is this courtyard my mom and I found in mid Hollywood? I love locations like this. Even though I've been working quite a lot lately, I've found some time to get outside and be with friends, spend time with Jonah and pursue hot yoga. While I am excited for college, I really want to embrace these next couple months and take advantage of all the rest/relaxation I can. Airport

I know airport dressing is a hot button issue, so I always like to show what I tend to wear. I don't understand the whole mentality of dressing down to get more "comfortable." Flights aren't that uncomfortable. Anyway, this is what I wore to fly to Portland on Friday for the weekend. I've found that this little dress I bought from ebay is the perfect "throw-on-and-go" dress, (which is something I am always looking for). Also, this phenomenal cashmere sweater is a gift from Blogger's Wardrobe and I can't get enough of it. Thank you also to Iconemesis for this A-W-E-S-O-M-E case. It's so elegant. I am in love.
